The employees of Teeuwissen are responsible every day for cleaning, installing, maintaining and inspecting sewers and pumping stations. Because technicians previously worked with pen and paper, work orders were often illegible, dirty or got lost. Soon, technicians will register their activities with Connect, which runs on the Android platform. This makes data easy to record and ensures no information gets lost.
Connect is a standard solution that can be configured to fit the technicians’ workflows. This makes it possible for all technicians to record their tasks in the same way, while the process they follow can differ per task. For example, the registration process for sewer cleaning is different from that of a sewer inspection, which is now carried out with Connect. Teeuwissen works with the Enwis ERP system, which is specifically developed for the waste management sector. Because Connect integrates seamlessly with this system, data is available in real time. This also means that photos and drawings can be sent from the ERP system to the technician, and that the technician can instantly send photos to the back office staff.
